Privacy
Sharp on the web never sees your photos. They are opened, merged and saved on your device, in this browser; no picture, thumbnail, file name or detail about a photo is sent to us or to anyone.
What the server receives
Only what any website receives when you load its pages: the request for each file of the page. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs. There are no cookies, no accounts, no advertising and no trackers.
What stays in your browser
A copy of the page itself, so it works offline, and a Pro licence if you unlock one. While Focus or Vanish runs, it keeps your frames in this site’s private storage on your device and deletes them when it finishes (or, if the page was closed or killed first, the next time it loads).
Your projects. After each run, the page keeps a project in this browser: the result, its map, a small thumbnail, the settings, and each photo’s name, size and date (so it can tell the same photos when you choose them again) — never the photos themselves. A saved retouch also keeps the merge it was painted on and what you painted. The free version keeps your latest project; Sharp Pro keeps every one. They stay on this device, are never sent anywhere, and go when you delete them in “Your projects” or clear this site’s data in your browser.
If you buy Sharp Pro for the web
Paddle, our reseller, takes the payment on its own page and keeps what a payment needs; we never see your card. We keep your licence key, Paddle’s transaction and customer IDs and your email address — to find a lost key and to answer you — and, for each browser you unlock, the description that browser gives of itself and when. That is all the server ever stores.
Your browser keeps the signed licence in this site’s storage. Checking it needs no connection and sends nothing; removing it from a browser frees that browser’s place.
