Terms of use
Updated 9 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Pablo Miranda, who runs Sharp on the web (sharpmerge.com) from Quito, Ecuador. By using the site you accept them. The privacy policy explains what is kept about you. Questions: support@pablin.me.
1. The service
Sharp on the web is a set of photo tools that runs in your browser: it puts several shots of the same scene together into one picture, on your device. There are no accounts. The free version and Sharp Pro for the web work the same way; Pro adds outputs and removes limits. Tools and features change and grow over time. It is separate from the Sharp app on the App Store, which is bought there.
2. Your photos
Your photos are yours. They are processed on your device and never sent to us, so we can't see, keep or recover them: keep your own copies. You are responsible for having the right to use the photos you open, and for what you do with the results.
3. Sharp Pro for the web and payment
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Sharp Pro for the web is a single purchase of US$15, not a subscription. Checkout shows the price in your currency and any sales tax or VAT for your country.
- A licence is for one person, in up to five browsers at a time. Don't share or publish your licence key; you can free a browser's place by removing the licence from it. If a browser can't (it was reset, or lost), write to us and we'll free its place.
4. Refunds
30 days: if Sharp Pro for the web isn't for you, ask for a full refund within 30 days of buying it, by writing to support@pablin.me or through Paddle, which sends your receipt. Once it is refunded, the licence can no longer be activated.
After 30 days, purchases are not refunded.
Nothing here limits your rights under the law where you live. Consumers in the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content; the 30 days above include it.
The refund policy also has its own page.
5. Using Sharp fairly
Don't get around the limits of the free version or the licence check, resell access to Pro, or interfere with the site's working or security.
6. What belongs to whom
Sharp's software and design are ours. It includes open-source components, used under their own licences, which those licences keep free for you.
7. Availability
We work to keep Sharp running and correct, but it is provided as it is, and it may sometimes be unavailable, change or have mistakes. Check important results before deleting your originals, and write to us about any mistake you find.
8. If Sharp ends
If we ever close sharpmerge.com, we will say so on the site at least 30 days before. A copy already installed in your browser keeps working offline, and a Pro licence keeps unlocking it there, since the browser checks the licence itself.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost or damaged photos, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version appears here with its date.
